I have a Epson 386 SX. I lost the reference disk that allows me to access my BIOS and CMOS. Does anybody know where I can get another reference disk?
If there is a site that allows me to download it, I would be VERY appreciative to the person who tells me where it is!

Epson's support page seems adequate but they list their computer products by name, not by processor.
Go to their support page:
http://support.epson.com/filelibrary.html
and click on the menu button entitled "other products" and look at the various names for their old computer products. There are quite a few computer names in the list. Hopefully, yours is listed.
Good luck.

Computer manufacturers do so many weird things with BIOS code. Either they put it on a chip that you can access when booting with DEL, F1, F2 or any other key that someone fell in love with. Some companies use a separate partition on the hard disk for the BIOS.
Of course to make this situation better, sites of different manufacturers are either useless or have too many run-arounds.
I would say before buying a computer, find out what type and lab made the BIOS on the PC.
