The program goes for $89 and anyone distributing it illegally can do hard time. The FBI does have people scanning message posts (Operation Carnivore.) If you're not an FBI agent I have legal, sealed, factory copies but you'll have to download Freelane from my website and send me a freelane e-mail to request it. WWW. techtony.com. Don't do it -- that's your problem.

Anyone else? Same deal. Legal copies, sealed with book and license. Leftovers I didn't need from a project I did for a business client. I'm not a retailer, but if you send me a freelane e-mail, I'll call it even. Freelane is at my sight.

There was MS-DOS Version 6.0, 6.2 and 6.22, but it was IBM-DOS 6.1. I have a copy. There is almost no difference.

The legnths we go to protect those who are not being hurt will always amaze me. I was looking to download backup.com (or exe or whatever it is) and I found that someone was looking for dos 6.1. It is kind of hard to find a pc which does not have dos on it these days. They are all the same basically. Lighten up. I have downloaded windows 95 for free off of the net (I should charge microsof t for the time they cost me). The FBI could not care less. no one cares about John Q pc user downloading an obsolete piece of software which comes for free with most computers. Even if someone does care, they are not worth your respect and they can not stop you !
"Get a factory copy from me!" - what a waste of plastic!

You can download the non-commercial version of DR-DOS 7.03 guilt free.
It works and looks like MSDOS but has a much better help file (DOSBOOK).

Microsoft never had an MS-DOS 6.1, but they licenced PC-DOS 6.1 to IBM for use with their machines. No idea where to get it though.

From IBM PC-DOS 5.0 onwards, IBM did not licence PC-DOS from Microsoft. IBM own thier own copyright! (Which they always did) From version 5.0 onwards IBM also developed it further! That is why later versions of PC-DOS improved on MS-DOS and included better extras!
Versions Of PC-DOS after PC-DOS 5.0
PC-DOS 6.1
PC-DOS 6.3
PC-DOS 7.0 (Rev 0)
PC-DOS 2000 (PC-DOS 7.0 Rev 1 - Y2K release)

i live in a III world (or is it developing?) country and i need it (badly) for my work
my old 80386 with 4Mb ram hardly runs with anything else
i have ver 6.1 but some files are missing...
it does not work properly and
i cannot get it from the net nor shops nor friends...
could you help me?
write to: pedrotobias@hotmail.com
