CPU/Ram: 128 sdram celorn 1gz

how can i get explorer to open a window of a cdrom wiv out knowin the drive letter

i fink it mite b lik this

start %windir%\explorer.exe %cdrom%

but it didnt wrk i messed at the %cdrom%

ne help will b wellcomed tanx

You can always open a command prompt and type "set" and press enter to see all global variables. cdrom is not one of them, as far as i know this is not possible. It would however be possible to pass the cdrom letter to the batch file if you could some how get the information form the user via a form or something.
