Hi everybody,
I've downloaded the DR DOS 7.03 as a complete installation package with maxedisk.exe as the unpcaker.
Unfortunately I'm not able to unpack the image files because when running the makedisk.exe a message "... there are no diskette drives on this computer capable of creating this disket" appears on the screen.I assume that (looking on the size of the image files) the images are for the 1.44 MB floppies and not 1.2 MB floppies.
Maybe someone could help me?
Thanks in advance!Zennon

For each diskette image file run the DISKCOPY command, specifying
the filename followed by the destination drive as follows:DISKCOPY DISK01.144 A:
DISKCOPY DISK02.144 A:
... etcAlso if you rename the file DISK1.IMG and so on you can open them with WinImage available from www.winimage.com which may be a little easer for you.

Try here for the correct files, they require 1.44 3.5 floppies, the "L" version does not have the Personal Netware Networking, which as it uses the IPX/SX network protocol is pretty much a waste of space, as TCP/IP is abundunt these days, unless you need to communicate with Novell Nitware

I've tried as above but the "diskcopy" command says:"Parameter format not correct - disk01.144 Do not specify filenames".
But changing the file extention to *.img worked fine and I've got already all the 5 starting diskettes.
Thank you for support!
Zennon

Glad to see it worked for you Zennon.
And thank you for coming back to tell us
