I am assuming that the "NON-DOS" partition in question is NTFS (Win NT\Win 2000):

Note: The steps below assume that your system is currently configured
to start Windows NT or MS-DOS/Win95/98 (you have both options at boot-up) and
that your system partition is using the File Allocation Table (FAT) system
(FAT16 is assumed, since NT 4 won't, or shouldn't, install on FAT32). If your
configuration differs from this, do not proceed with these instructions,
instead, skip down to here.

  1. Start your system from an MS-DOS bootable floppy disk that contains the
Sys.com file (Win95 startup disk will do, make sure the startup disk is
the same version as the operating system you run).
  2. At the A: prompt (or whichever letter corresponds to your floppy disk
    drive), type 'sys c:'.
  3. Remove the floppy and restart your system to ensure that the systems starts
from the hard disk into MS-DOS/Win95/98.
  4. Use the MS-DOS ATTRIB command (for example, 'attrib -r -h -s
    filename'
) to remove the read-only, hidden, and system attributes from the
following files, found in the root directory of your system partition:
    Boot.ini, Bootsect.dos, NTBootDD.sys (if it exists),
    NTDetect.com, and NTLDR.
  5. Delete the files listed in Step 4 above, as well as the Pagefile.sys file.
  6. Delete the following directories:
    [system drive-letter]\[Windows NT
    directory]\System32
    [system drive-letter]\[Windows NT directory]\Repair

    [system drive-letter]\[Windows NT directory]
    [system
    drive-letter]\Program Files\Windows NT

(I included all of those because
that is what Microsoft says to do, I would simple delete the Windows NT
directory, because it includes the others, i.e. 'deltree c:\winnt' 'deltree
    "C:\Program Files\Windows NT"'
    )
  7. You can delete the Users and Win32app directories, found in
the root directory (if they exist), provided there are no important user files
    located there.

Can't Uninstall?

Well, unfortunately, if you're system doesnt meet the criteria at the
beginning of this page, you have one choice - to reformat and completely start
over. Many a curious people (including myself, happily enough i was
unsuccessful) decide to convert to NTFS the first time they install NT, not
knowing it renders DOS/win95 useless and takes you beyond the (dun dun dun)
Point of no return (is there an echo here?). The procedure for reformatting is
fairly simple, it is as follows:

  1. First, remember that this deletes all of the data on your drive, so you will
need to backup any important documents, downloaded files, etc..
  2. You'll need an MS-DOS boot disk with format.com and fdisk.exe
(win95 startup will do) and, if you plan to reinstall Windows95/98 off of a
cdrom, you'll need a cdrom driver (you can download a generic ide cdrom driver,
and the instructions for using it here, I'd
recommend unzipping it onto the startup disk, and installing it into C:
after you format it, youll need edit.com for this).
  3. Turn off your system, put the floppy in your floppy drive, turn the system
    back on.
  4. At the A: prompt (or whatever letter your floppy uses) type
'fdisk'. Once fdisk opens, select 'delete a partition or logical drive',
then 'delete non-dos partition', the NTFS partition should be the only one
showing, delete it, then, back at the main menu, select create a partition, if
that was your only partition then you'll be creating a primary dos partition,
otherwise, I'm sure you know your partition configuration. After you're
    finished, exist fdisk
  5. Now, back at the A: prompt, type 'format c: /s' where C: is
    the letter of your drive.
  6. Now that C: is formatted, do one of two things, either install the cdrom
driver onto C:, or, if you have it installed on the floppy and its
loaded, simply run D:\win95\setup.exe (where D: is the letter of
your cdrom drive). It may help to simply copy the win95 directory off of your cd
to a second partition or drive if you have more than one, so you won thave to
    worry about cdrom drivers.
  7. Now, you're on your own, if you want to install NT again and avoid the NTFS
boo-boo, click here for the Installation guide.

I am sorry, I'm just a begginer. And I think, I am not using WINDOWS NT. I am trying to install windows 95. And I want to delete the current partitioning. I have 2 gig and I need to enable the FAT32 as you have said in your Website that you sent to me. What are the steps in deleting the current partition. Thanks

First, a FAT32 partition is a DOS partition, not a NON-DOS partition. We will try it one more time. Put your Win98 setup floppy disk in your machine and turn the power on. When you come to the Setup Menu choose Without CDROM support. That will bring you to an A:\> prompt. Type FDISK and then press ENTER. Here are the rest of the instruction with With Pictures
