Just as a word of caution before you do this; it will not for sure work, and if it doesn't you will get a whole bunch of new fresh problems which you probably didn't expect at all. You should do this only if the hard disks are of EXACTLY the same size and specs, preferably same manufacturer and model, too. The following procedure might be slightly different depending on what version of Norton Utilities you are using, but the general concept is the same. If you get stuck, post here what version of Norton Utilities you are using. Start the Norton Utilities disk editor (DISKEDIT.exe or NU.EXE) on the working computer, select "Choose item" and then select "Absolute sector", "C:", and select Side/Head=0, Cylinder=0, Sector=0 and Number of sectors=1, alternatively select "partition table" if such an option exists. Choose "Edit/Display item", and you will see four lines with values, describing the partition table. Write these values down on a paper somewhere, then do the same on the other computer except this time you enter these values instead for the ones that are there.
