Hello,

I would like a simple command to check for disk space on a system before installing a file.

I.e I want to run a login script to install a workstation with sp3 which will be downloaded from the server, I want the script to check the workstation HD space before d/l or executing SP3?? (Win 2000)

thanks for you help in advance.

There is no real command ready to do just that, but you could get the data out of "chkdsk", .. or "dir"

run "dir", and look at the last line, it displays the size remaining

you could redirect output, and then get the size out of it ..
