Hi, everybody. I got a question about programming DOS operating system.
How does Dos sytem work,at the programmer standpoint?
For example,the architecture of dos system; how does it be loaded from biginning; how it execute the command enterd by user,which programming language used to develop it; how to write the library called by system or application,..!

if every here has any ideas or websits, could you please give me!

WHICH IS A FREE DOS THAT WILL BE 100% COMPATIBLE WITH MSDOS IT IS WRITEN IN C WITH A BIT OF ASM (I THINCK MSDOS IS MOSTLY ASM)
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE COMPLEAT SOURCE CODE AND AS ITS AS GOOD AS FREE YOU CAN CHANGE IT AND USE IT IN YOUR OWN OS. HOPE THAT THIS IS OF SOME HELP ,
