I am building a computer and everthing is going good. I need to get the CD Drive to work in Dos so I can install my Windows XP OS. I need to know what files are needed and how to do it. I have an MSI DVD-ROM drive, I bought it OEM so i came with nothing but the drive. Thanks Chris.

I've got a self-extracting windows 98 boot disk on my ftp site. Just download it and double click on any operating system to format a disk. It has everything you need. ftp://repair.lft.k12.la.us/software/BOOT_DISKS/98_Bootdisk.exe

On such a new new PC go into the BIOS and set the boot sequence to include your CD Drive. (DVD's act as normal CD-ROM's as well) Since you have no OS on your harddrive you should then be able to boot from CD-ROM and run XP Setup.
Let us know how you get on

If it's an USB DVD-ROM, then you may need to use other DOS drivers(like DUSE and USBASPI) in order to get it to work under DOS properly.
