How do I see my WHOLE HDD?

I just got a 10GB drive and stuck it in my old machine. When I boot up, I can only see 2GB. I put it in my newer machine, and I can see all 10GB. It seems like my older machine will only let me use 2GB. Is there any way I can get my older machine to use all 10GB?? I think this can be done, I'm just not sure how. For some reason I thought there was a small prog you can run to make this work. Any help would be great!

hard to be sure, but it's likely that your mobo is one of the older ones that can't "see" HDs bigger than 2 gig. Maybe a bios upgrade would sort it.....
A 2 gig limit is because you formatted your drive with FAT16 instead FAT32.
BIOS's never had a 2 gig limit. It was either a 520 meg limit or an 8 gig limit.

Use fdisk and create 5 partitions of 2 MB. For Dos & win3.x use only FAT16, FAT32 will not be able to work.
