How do I install Dos6.22

I've got a 386 and have run Fdisk and Formatted C: I downloaded a Dos6.22 Boot disk and three more disks of Dos6.22. The system boots ok from the boot disk but what do I type in now? On each of the three disks there is a Dos6.22.exe which have been extracted using winzip. Any help? Ta.

usually dos 6.22 are in disk images, run the dos 6.22 file (on your harddrive) this should either extract an img file, with a bat file, or will extract the image to a floppy. the files inside the exe files are the files that should be extracted to floppy, also you shouldn't ened a boot disk, disk 1 should already be bootable.

disk one should be self install which should install automactily if u boot up using dos 6.22 disk 1 in the floppy disk when it searchs 4 a boot record. IF you have any futher Questions then email me @ sceciluk@yahoo.co.uk
