Boot the computer with your linux bootdisk, and log in as root. Once you are logged in as root, you need to run Fdisk to delete the partitions that are on the hard drive. Once all partitions are deleted, exit Fdisk, and remove the Linux boot disk. Now insert your Windows 98 boot disk, and restart your computer. Once you are ate the command prompt, type in fdisk to create a new primary partition. Enable large disk support, and use all space available. After the partition is created, exit fdisk, and restart your machine with the 98 boot disk. When it is booted, (this time with CDROM support), type in FORMAT C: to format the C drive. Next install Windows 98.

Just boot with a 98 bootdisk and run fdisk to delete the linux partitions and create dos partitions. If for some reason fdisk doesn't see the linux partitions, download delpart.exe and use that to delete them.

delpart.exe;

I'm pretty sure Mesich's site also has this utility; mesich.com

You have to set the floppy as the primary boot device in your BIOS.
