How can I unformat a disk / formatted maybe with windows or dos (full format) ??

Use Norton Utilis for dos and for win95. Your problem hapens with me often. Next time backup your information on CD or image it.

thanks for your urgent reply. When using Norton Utils, shouldnt I have done an image or mirror before I can restore the information??

Bad news: if it actually was a FULL FORMAT, then all data on the diskette has been overwritten and is impossible to get back without stuff like magnetic electronmicroscopes and such... You just have to hope that it wasn't. Then it maybe is recoverable with RECOVER or something similar.

if it was only a quick format something can help you(use DiskEdit) p.s. I'd kill such "friends"

Dear Sir / Madam, how can i recover my document? i format my hardisk....but i can't backup all my files...what i can do?...is there another way to recover my files?.....i use windows98 to format my hardisk...there is another way to unformat my hardisk pls....give me some way....thanks
