Well... what I described works, no alterations required. What you're talking about Tony, is a bit different. It's ok to format down to a lesser capacity, but you may be asking for trouble formatting up to a higher capacity. The track widths are different for one thing. Anyways, I've formatted 5.25 /360 K disks down to 160 k and used them on my vintage Commodore 64. On those, you could cut another write-protect notch, which allowed you to use BOTH sides (really, only 1 side was intended for use). Still, because of the difference in track width, it can be dicey using 360's in 1.2 M capacity drives - the disk may be ok on your machine, but not be read on another. Format, without the /F parameter will default to the disk-drive's highest capacity.
