I need DOS 6.0 so that I can install it onto my laptop. I'm trying to get Windows 95 back onto it but my laptop has interchangeable floppy drives and CD roms in the same port. When I try to use the CD rom, it doesn't recognize it since it's been formatted. I need DOS 6 so I can at least use the operating system and thereby install cd rom drivers. I tried changing the boot sequence but the laptop won't recognize the cd rom, no matter what sequence I use.

How do you format a CD-ROM? No! get a boot disk with CD-ROM access from bootdisk.com .Choose Win 95 type ,put CD for Windows in the drive and try to install Windows.
