i am trying to get my toshiba portege 2000 laptop to load my usb cdrw so i can install xp.
These laptops have no drives on them so im using a usb floppy too,
i have tried duse, but i dont know if i was doing it correctly, it would never go any further than recognising my usb cd, then nothing would happen.
i have zero knowledge of dos and was wondering if anyone could help me in making a working bootup disk.

thankyou

If you get the CD working and recognized, this page will explain how to install XP from MS-DOS:
