Hi, How can one format a hard drive to be write protected? If it's a write protected, how can one make it writable? I have a Western Digital hard drive and everytime I try to repartition it, it let me delete the partition. but then when i recreate the partion, it says "disk error write protected". Please help if you think you have a solution. Thanks
The only thing I can think of is that maybe your BIOS has been set to stop you writing to the drive. A thought that I've just had is maybe you are running a TSR with may be causing the write protect error. Give it a go anyway.
