Hard drive not accesable

CPU/Ram: 500/256

i have 2 hdd. i can access the c drive in dos but i cant access the second 1 (M) the bios detects it, and i can acess it fine in windows, but not in dos. any ideas?

FDISK cant see it, but when i boot xp , its there. can you please tell me y that is and how do i correct this prob.

which fileformat is on the harddisk?

dos cant read ntfs

if you have dos 6.22 or before it also cant read fat32

both drives are fat32

how can i upgrade to a newer version of dos just in case.

but i installed windows 98, and it cant read the second drive OR the cdrom drive
