How do I make an exact bootable copy of one hard drive to another with out having to install the OS and drivers again. I basically want to copy the old drive on to the new drive, remove the old drive and restart the comp without any further action required. Is it even possible?

Yes it's possible. The best known software for doing is this Drive Image from Powerquest.

Unfortunately it's not shareware. I think I paid about $59.99 for my copy. (V3)

Are the hard drives the same size? If so, there is a way you can do it for free. If they are the same size please tell me and I'll tell you how to do it.

You can download the trial version of Symantec Ghost
HERE.
Total download is about 40Megs but you only need one file in it "ghost.exe" (about 700Kb)to clone any one disk or partition to another within Dos. Very easy to use.

You can go to www.download.com and use the seach, on the top right of the page to search for drive 2 drive, or copy hard drive, or something close to that.

Where can I find information about " How tomake an exact bootable copy of one hard drive to another with out having to install the OS and drivers again. .

In this case I would like to build up 12 computers with the same requirements.
