Getting driver for cdrom

I have a 4x panasonic cdrom. already tried the 58x_dos driver from page. my dos will not install the driver it comes back saying no drive specified.

You need to load up whatever your driver is in config.sys, and mscdex in your autoexec.bat

U can find an universal driver for cd-rom on win98 boot disk, open the autoexec.bat and config.sys, copy/paste (about mscdex.exe...) the lines into your boot files doon't forget to take the driver and to modify the lines with the place of the driver on youre harddisk
