FTP: How to change FTP password in DOS

Does anyone know how to change their FTP account password with the command prompt?? Can't find the command...

what ftp server and client are you useing? I'll try to see if I can't come up w/ some answer for you.

you have to telnet to the server,
type the the "passwd" command all by itself
and then the system will ask you for the old
password and then the new password
