Is it possible to suppress the F5 F8 message about skipping autoexec etc when FreeDos boots from a HD ?

Secondly I am loading CDROM drivers and want to test for the existence of a
file before executing it - I have tried the following but whatever I do I
always get an error if there is no CD present in the drive.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Dunno about f5 f8 but this seems more straightforward:
