I recently formatted my hard drive on my old toshiba 486 laptop. I tried to boot from a floppy, but still get a message reading, "non system disk or disk error", any suggestions? Thx, Rick

Try to boot with BOOTABLE floppy disk. It must contain command.com, io.sys and msdos.sys.
