Format Red Hat Linux Computer

I am trying to format a computer which has Red Hat Linux installed on it. I have deleted all the partitions through fdisk and have loaded up a dos boot disk and formatted the C drive. I can add folders etc to the C drive when using the boot disk. When I restart the computer LILO starts to boot up. Does anyone know how I can delete/format this. Thanks
