AHH someone help! I know that the floppy drive fail (40) is supposed to be fixed by just pushing in the ribbon and stuff but I have tried everything I can think of and I have experience with building computers and I don't know what to do! Help! I feel dumb!

I have built many computers, and just because it says one thing, doesnt mean that it is also something else. Check the cmos for correct drive classification, make sure that the end of the cable WITH THE TWIST is the one plugging into the A: drive, make sure that if you do not have a B drive, that your cmos is not looking for one in the boot sequence. If after all this, nothing works, switch drives with another, it may be bad. good luck!
