When trying to access FDISK in Dos in am getting an error "error on
fixed disk." I am trying to install NT 4.0 Workstation and Windows 95 in
a dual boot. I had one partition, deleted the partition then created 2
partitions with 1GB each. I then installed Windows 95 and tried to
install NT, but NT couldn't recognize the partition created for it. Since
then I can't access FDISK. What do

OK, first, make sure you didn't format the primary partition in FAT32, cause you will never get NT to work, without some real tweaking....

Next boot off a DOS disk and run fdisk from there. I think you will find that will always work.

The reason the primary (Usually C drive) cannot be FAT 32 is that NT will not install on FAT32, even if you are installing NT to another partition, it still needs to write the BOOT.INI file and change the master boot record.....

Hope that shed some hope
