What is the best program and/or DOS command(s) to find all folder and files on my hard drive, including the lost files?

The Norton Utilities 8.0 had small utilities called FL.exe and FileFind.exe

These have been excellent for file locating.

chkdsk /s (or is it /a?) (not on a dos machine to try it)

or

attrib /s
