My config.sys file has a line FILES=20. How big can FILES be set to, and what is the penalty for a large number of files?
Also, MEM repots I have 25 M of unused extended memory. How can I get some use out of it. My first thought is to create a large Ram Drive. What is the penalty for a large Ram Drive ?
