I'm getting extended error 53 on one of the dos pc after typing command dir, even though the dos pc shows it is successfully connected to d://server,(before networking was o.k for almost 6 mths)i'm blank at this point after trying a lot to find out the problem. Can anyone explain me the possiblilty?

Extended Error 53

A DOS error message that typically means a network connection has been broken between two stations. I presume you need to rebuild the network connections!
