any one can help me please ? i create my own time.exe and date.exe, but every time i run it in norton commander, it runs it's default time and date routine. i want to disable the default time and date, really annoying. So please email direct to me if u have the answer, really thanks a lot.

The easiest solution is to rename your two programs.

What's happending is the DATE and TIME commands are built into COMMAND.COM, and internal commands take precedence over external commands.

DOS is reading the programs from the default path (nortan probably is too unless its doing it internally), so:
(1) rename the old time.exe and date.exe to other names, or just delete them
(2) copy your utilities in their place

That oughta do it
