I am looking for a MS-DOS .exe to .COM converter.
I have looked everywhere and I can't find it.
I am in great need and will do anything to get it.
It came with MS-DOS 2 up to 6.
The file name is EXE2BIN.exe and it comes on the MS-DOS suplementry disk.
I have tried everything to get this programm for my programming use.
Please if you can help, write to stephens@phsc.vic.edu.au
Thanks.

evenifyou get a hold of exe2bin it may notconvert the exe file in question.
You may get a "file can not be converted error". This is because the way the original exe file was put together. Any way why do youu want to convert to a com file?

I have the same question...why do you want/need a .com file rather than .exe?
Go to http://ftpsearch.lycos.com and type in the filename in question. It will find may matches and give you file details like size and date last modified. I hope you find what you wanted.

Thanks to all the people that replied to my request, and sent E-mails with the attach file "EXE2BIN.EXE"
I am very grateful.
In answer to some replies to my request.
Hear are the answers.
Question.
"Why do you want to convert to a com file?"
Answer.
I want to convert to .com because of 2 reasons.1. Faster program execution.
2. Less space needed to store the program on disk. That is why I am interested in converting to .com (flat binary code.)
Thanks again to the people who replied.
I have now got a copy of EXE2BIN.EXE
