A version of MS-DOS 4.0 was released to Europe for a brief period of time with multitasking capabilities but was pulled off the market not too much later.
I wouldn't mind having a copy to test out.

This is one of the RARE and hard to find versions of MS-DOS It was replaced by MS-DOS 4.01 within weeks of its OEM release. It KILLED PC's so watch it if you ever get hold of a copy! MS-DOS was never sold in stores over here, only provided with new machines. That is why it is so hard to find a copy!
