I am looking for this driver for dos. I bought this soundblaster pro clone sound card. Came with Win3.1/'95/'98 drivers. In my manual it told me to got to ESS website at www.esstech.com to download the dos drivers. I did & all they had was the Windows drivers also. Any help will be appreciated.

I noticed my microphone did not record after upgrading from Windows '95 to Windows '98. The new 1998 drivers that Windows automatically installed for the ES1869 seemed to cause some problems. I dropped back to the original 1997 drivers from the product CD (which I can't believe I still had after all the times we have moved!) and everything seems to work OK. Any reason to try and get this all to work with the latest drivers?

I need the driver for my computer recently bought. The sound card in the computer that came preloaded is ES1869 Controller Interface. Please advise me where I can down load this sort of of driver for Sound card. I have tried the ESS TEchnology, but I don seem to see where I can have the option for downloading.
Awaiting your kind response.
