I fdisk my hard drive. I dont believe I did it correctly. Now I get a message "Invalid media type reading drive c". I can access the a dive and boot it to a c:\ prompt but it gives me this message when i try to give commands. My fdisk when i go back in says " do you wish to enable large disk support (y/n)............? i put in no because i am not sure what to put in there. from there it wont do anything in any of the options listed. i would like to know if my hard drive is really working. I hear it turning but thats all. I am a novice at this so if that you can see.....Thanks for your time and advice!

Start over: Boot diskette and run FDISK, enter Y for yes (you want large file support), remove any partition on disk drive. Then create a primary partition.
Reboot diskette enter command FORMAT C: to format the drive and put a file system on it. Now you should be able to access the C:\ drive.
