Hi, I've been getting the "Error Loading Operating System" for the past few days and have tried to figure out how to fix it but can't.
The message originally started after a blue error screen popped up on my computer, at the time their was two programs running, AOL Instant Messenger and Limewire. I tried to restart my computer after the blue screen came up but I got the error.
I'm not sure of every thing about the computer but from the load up screen before the error I was able to get "Phoenix- Award BIOS v6.00Pg" i don't know if that will help at all.

Sounds more like windows than DOS or "Intel".

Sounds like a problem with your hard drive. Boot up with your Intel OS bootdisk and run scandisk. If you don't have an Intel OS bootdisk, post back the correct information.
