Comment:

I am trying to setup my machine to access a network share from DOS so that I can perform a Ghost of my hard drive.

I am using MSDos 6.22 and my TCP/IP stack is setup correctly, because I can ping the machine from another machine on the network.

When I type the net logon command it tells me that the workstation service has not been started and asks me to start it. When I respond I get the following error message:

Error 36: The system has detected an overflow in the sharing buffer.

Just above the error message there is a usage message as follows:

Usage: redir.exe /N: [/D:] [/V]

Config.sys:
BUFFERS=20
FILES=50
DEVICE=A:\NET\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICE=A:\NET\EMM386.exe NOEMS X=D000-D3FF
DOS=HIGH,UMB
LASTDRIVE=Z
DEVICEHIGH=A:\ENABLER.exe
DEVICEHIGH=A:\NET\PROTMAN.DOS /i:A:\NET
DEVICEHIGH=A:\NET\tcpdrv.DOS
DEVICEHIGH=A:\NET\Pc100.dos
DEVICEHIGH=A:\NET\NEMM.dos
DEVICEHIGH=A:\NET\IFSHLP.SYS

Autoexec.bat:
@ECHO OFF
path=a:\net
a:\net\smartdrv.exe /x 2048 > nul
a:\net\net initialize
a:\net\netbind.com
a:\net\umb.com
a:\net\tcptsr.exe
a:\net\tinyrfc.exe
a:\net\nmtsr.exe
a:\net\emsbfr.exe
net logon username password /DOMAIN:dogpack /yes
rem net use n: \\serverdog\images

Any help would be appreciated.
