is it possible to end a running precess from Dos? if so could some one please give me an example of how?
thanks in advance for your time!

You can download some program called kill.exe, which can stop any process via DOS
Its an utility used on unix, but they converted it to use under DOS ad well
I prefer this one:
C:\kill.exe /f iexplore
Mail me if you cant find the program on i-net
