ending a process from dos?

is it possible to end a running precess from Dos? if so could some one please give me an example of how?

You can download some program called kill.exe, which can stop any process via DOS

Its an utility used on unix, but they converted it to use under DOS ad well

I prefer this one:

C:\kill.exe /f iexplore
