I hit error when I used memmaker to create expanded memory for my DOS 6.22 PC. The error is Unable to set Page Frame Base address -- EMS Unavailable. Please help, what can I do.

Your question is not entirely clear. EMM396 emulates Expanded memory MEMMAKER does not do this. My guess is that you selected no Expanded memory when you ran memmaker and it installed something else in the address used for expanded memory.
Run MEMMAKER over again and select that you use expanded memory. If this is not it, I do not understand the question correctly.
