I know i can run two of the same card with a splitter but i want to use two cards and two vga's with seperate resolutions. Any info is good. all replies to subject: dual moniters only

How would you use two monitors? I know two video cards usually will not coexist, but there are expensive cards with two video out jacks. A big deal with Windows 98 was that it supported two monitors, but the hype seemed to assume that half the screen was on one and half the screen was on the other. The only thing I ever wanted was to run two tasks and have each one on a separate monitor, and so far as I ever learned, you are better off to use two cheap computers for that.

The only way that I know of to use two monitors on a 486dx66 is that the computer has to have PCI slots and you have to upgrade to Windows 98. I've got Windows 98 running on a 486dx66 with 32 MB of memory and it is painfully slow, I wouldn't recommend running Windows 98 on anything slower than a 166MHz with MMX Technology and at least 48 MB of memory.
