are there any advantages, if you have a registred version of Caldera DR-DOS 7.03 instead of the shareware version?

None at all - The 'Shareware' which is in fact 'Freeware' for Private Use. You only need a license for Commercial Use. Is a full and complete download. The only differance being that you get no support from Lineo (The company that now controls DR-DOS)

You can buy a Single Licensed copy if you wish from:

Download FULL versions of DR-DOS from:

ftp://ftp.lineo.com/pub/drdos/

also get 7.03 from

ftp://ftp.lineo.com/pub/devsup/drdos/dr703.exe

It only costs you ANY Money if you want to use a Licensed Commercial Copy otherwise it is FREE for private use!
