Dos Windows AutoClose

Whenever i try to open a dos window or dos program, it automatically closes.

There is no DOS window in WinXP. Did you read the forum instructions?

Geez... I am so sick of this bull$hit with you guys not helping people. Not a DOS question.. Blah blah blah...

Fox... Instead of doubleclicking the DOS icons for specific DOS programs, run cmd.exe and then issue the dos commands to run the dos programs. When you run the programs from a shell you won't have to worry about them closing immediately after they finish running.
