After all I've read about USB, I still don't find anyone saying that USB mass storage ( via USBASPI.SYS + DI1000DD.SYS ), and USB mouse ( via UHCI.exe + OHCI.exe ), seem to be totally uncompatible !?...
Is it true ? Is there a way to accomodate them ? Or is there another drivers solution
to manage both ?Yann G

MS-DOS6.xx and compatable USB support is for Mass Storage & Optical Devices, AFAIK no other USB devices are supported...........
I think you need to do more research as the following are the controller chips nothing to do with a specific device.USB 1.x UHCI (Universal Host Controller Interface) Intel, VIA
USB 1.x OHCI (Open Host Controller Interface) Compaq, Microsoft and National Semiconductor
USB 2.x EHCI (Enhanced Host Controller Interface)http://www.lvr.com/usb.htm
There are several variations of USBASPI.SYS, the most stable is the latest from Panasonic which is USB1.x and 2.x compatible.http://83.67.55.228/usbfire.htm

Check out this page for DOS USB mouse support:
