hi. I want to install dos on my 486. What do i need? do i need a boot disk? Or does it exist a dos set that boots for it self? All disk i tryed to now have not booted, so i have not manage to install dos..

You need to install to the hard drive or a floppy, you can not copy files over. OK Tom. The files you downloaded are .ZIP files and have to be unzipped using PKZIP or WINZIP. The unzipped files are .IMG files which have to be extracted using Winimage.
