I right now have a pretty sweet rig, I got my IBM connected to my Cisco switch, which is telnetted into my Domain Controller, which is running DOS Lynx (using that right now to type this).. But, I am stuck doing this from a Windows 3.0 Terminal window (Serial port)..
Is there any DOS based terminal emulators that are free, and can communicate with the serial port? And give access to the WHOLE screen (no status bars, etc)..
If you contact me by e-mail I can give you one working for me as you wish.
I gave you the emulator, but the attachment (.zip) was refused as invalid due to "too big" where the zip size is 8 KB only. So please suggest me a way to send you the code.
sent you another email letting you know.. Gmail has a pretty pathetic rule on ZIP attachments (why
have so much space if you can't use it?)..
I would think a few minutes with Google would pay off http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/ut...

Also search around for ham radio packet information. Many of them are terminal programs.
When sending/receiving emails with attachments, I have found Yahoo to be first class. Others such as Hotmail, tend to be a let down.
Good Luck - Keep us posted.
MS-DOS Kermit v3.16 (2003-Oct-12) is a classic.
