Comment:

I have set up MS Client 3 on my portable.
I got my pcmcia NIC drivers installed, as well as the tcp/ip protocol.
the programs and devices started are as follow:

autoexec:

net initialize
netbind.com
umb.com
tcptsr.exe
tinyrfc.exe
nmtsr.exe
emsbfr.exe
net start

config.sys:
device=c:\EC2T\enabler.exe (pcmcia driver?)
device=c:\msnet\ifshlp.sys

for some reason all goes well for pinging the winXP computers on the network but I can't get to see the shared drives... it tells me there is no servers ready or something like that....
am I missing something? please help :)

thanks in advance

Marty

Yeah I skipped that part since it didn't have to do with the networking... but I do have memory management thanks for the suggestion :)
