Does anyone know where I can get any good dos games and a dos program what says hello to you when you turn your pc on and does anybody know where I can get a dos dvd player or avi player or something else interesting!

Hi Karl - As far as your DOS computer saying "Hello" or "I'm arfraid I can't do that, Dave", or playing the sound of a really gross fart, or Rod Serling's intro and theme from "The Twilight Zone" (like my computer does), check this out: Many DOS sound card driver packages come with a command-line program that will play wave files. Look for something called PLAY.EXE, PLAYFILE.EXE, PLAYWAV.EXE, or something similar. Put the name of this program in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file near the top (but not before the PATH) along with the wave file you want it to play: PLAYFILE TWILZONE PLAY STINKFRT PLAYFILE C:\SNDFILES\HAL.WAV etc. Wave files are available all over the inet, or you can make them yourself with windows or DOS recording software.
