hi i am using windows ME but since yestreday i noticed that the dos box and my dos programmes like f-prot dos stopped working .... can you please help is this a problem with windows ???

I've had thesame problem. I don't know what happens if you start a dos program. But when I did it, my computer froze. Eventually I found out that it was my video card that didn't have enough memory. Check the amount of mem on your card. If it is a reasenable amount(like 16MB or higher) then the problem is somwhere else.

Try running F-Prot from a startup floppy, if it runs ok from there it could be a problem in windows
