I thought mabey someone here could answer this.
I have some very old dos games that while they play fine on Win XP I can only use PC speaker. 'remember the ol commander keen, duke nukem, secret agent etc.' :)
Is there any kind of emulator or something I can use to either set adLib or Soundblaster settings so the games will play sound through the computer speakers instead of pc speaker?
The old games just don't recognize this new of a pc.
Thanks

If you are running these programs from windows, some of them may support the Windows Sound System. Otherwise you may want to contact the manufacturer of your sound system. They may have dos drivers for their sound card. Good Luck :)

you will need a DOS emulator, win XP doesn't support DOS programs worth crap. You could also go bact to win98SE

Well mabey i'll just go back to my original idea of building a dos and 3.1 box.
Dang drivers are gettin far and few.
