Comment: Hey peeps. I was wondering if you guys knew about any DOS programs that completely Flushes your RAM. That would be quite the handy application if I do say so myself. Because I know that when ever you restart, your comp does not completely Clear your RAM. That it only FULLY flushes it when it reaches 98%

Reply: (edit)Try using http://www.memtest86.com/ ... there is also a DOS version of an old MEMTEST86. You cannot return from any MemTest86 version to DOS, because it overwrites all memory. You have to reboot after using it. But still it is probably what you wanted. You can also try FreeDOS HIMEM from the command line and run the test memory thing (you first have to LOAD HIMEM as a device driver from config.sys of course).
