I just purchased a HP photosmart 7350 printer which is connected to a usb port. My PFS First choice program cannot find a printer on a usb port when I attempt to print from the program. I was wondering if there is a way to get PFS First Choice to locate the usb port. The port is dot4_001. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If a solution cannot be found, I will need to convert the text files and database to a Windows format and I am not sure if there is a way to do that.

I would try the Wengier Super boot disk.It is supporting USB ports from dos prompt.

This is a recurring problem with new printers that cannot handle old software.

It would be easier to get another printer. A parallel port laser printer with DOS and/or HP-PCL capabilities is best.

There are several ways to transfer your text and database depending upon the complexity of the data.
